How Rewario points work: 100 points = $1

Rewario SurveysWritten by Rewario TeamAugust 18, 2026 / 8 min read

Every survey on Rewario pays in points, and the rate never changes: 100 points equals $1. That single rule makes it easy to compare studies before you start one, and it answers the question most people arrive with — how much do online surveys pay?

One rate, everywhere on the site

A 180 point study is worth $1.80. A 45 point study is worth $0.45. There is no separate bonus currency, no tiered conversion, and no fee taken at redemption.

If your account is set to a local currency, the money value you see is converted live from the same USD price, so the points figure and the cash figure always describe the same reward.

The rate applies to every earning route on the platform: paid surveys, offer walls, game offers, the weekly leaderboard, streak rewards and bonus codes. One number to remember means you can judge any reward in a second.

How much do online surveys pay in points?

Most consumer studies on the platform sit between 40 and 350 points, which is $0.40 to $3.50 for a single survey. Length usually explains the spread: a three minute screener pays far less than a fifteen minute product interview.

A quick way to compare cards is points divided by minutes. Anything above 10 points a minute ($0.10) is a healthy rate for consumer research, and long specialist studies sometimes reach 25 points a minute.

  • Short study, 3-5 minutes: roughly 30-80 points ($0.30-$0.80).
  • Standard study, 8-12 minutes: roughly 90-200 points ($0.90-$2.00).
  • Long or specialist study, 15-25 minutes: 250 points and up ($2.50+).

When points appear in your balance

Survey providers confirm completions through a server callback. Most credits land within seconds of the closing screen; a small number take a few minutes while the provider validates the response.

You never need to claim a survey credit by hand. If the closing screen appeared and the study was accepted, the callback arrives on its own.

  • Completed and validated: points credit automatically.
  • Disqualified partway: no points, but the study leaves your wall so you do not retry it.
  • Reversed by the provider for a quality flag: the original credit is removed from your balance.

Pending points on larger offers

Surveys credit straight away. Purchase and free trial offers are held as pending until the advertiser confirms them, then release into your withdrawable balance after the 30-day refund window.

The hold exists because advertisers can reverse those conversions weeks later. Holding the credit protects the reward pool, which is what keeps payouts on the rest of the platform fast.

Turning points into money

Redemption opens at 500 points, which is exactly $5, on gift cards, virtual prepaid cards and cash routes. Nothing is deducted at redemption: 500 points is a $5 reward, not $9.50.

Because half the revenue a completion generates is shared with the member who earned it, the point value you see on a card is directly tied to what research buyers paid for that interview.

How to read a survey card

The card shows the point value, the estimated length, and the provider. Divide points by minutes to get your effective rate: 120 points in 10 minutes is $0.12 a minute, which is strong for consumer research.

The provider name matters too. Each wall buys from a different set of research panels, so if one provider keeps screening you out, the next one may have quotas that fit your profile perfectly.
